DES MOINES, Iowa - The Iowa Department of Natural Resources wants people to keep safe while paddling this holiday weekend.
Iowa DNR Water Trails Coordinator Todd Robertson told KXCV/KRNW that water takes time to warm up this time of year.
Robertson also says although those paddling in a canoe or kayak can keep distance from others, tubers cannot. For more information, visit iowadnr.gov.KXCV-KRNW
